Brighton is a town in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,450 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Brighton and Klondike are located within the town.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93.2 km²), of which, 35.8 square miles (92.7 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²) of it (0.50%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,450 people, 504 households, and 402 families residing in the town. The population density was 40.5 people per square mile (15.6/km²). There were 524 housing units at an average density of 14.6 per square mile (5.7/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.24% White, 0.21% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.55% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.55% from other races, and 1.17% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.07% of the population.
