Pittsville is located at 44°26′25″N 90°7′42″W (44.440409, -90.128249). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.98 square miles (5.13 km²), of which, 1.97 square miles (5.10 km²) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km²) is water.
